The Social & Community Committee works to build a spirit of community among APABA Silicon Valley members and affiliates. We strengthen the APA legal network by organizing social events that foster networking, raise involvement in the community, and generate more awareness of APABA Silicon Valley efforts. Past activities include last year’s Bocce Ball tournament, members’ mixers, annual picnic, and our Christmas event. Keep an eye out for regular event updates on the homepage and under the Events tab. Robert Chou
VP of Finance & Development
Robert Chou is a transactional tax associate at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP in Palo Alto. His practice focuses on the tax aspects of cross-border mergers and acquisitions and renewable energy project financing and structuring. Robert received his J.D. from Northwestern Pritzker School of Law and his B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.
Daniel Chung
Daniel Chung is an experienced violent crimes prosecutor in Silicon Valley and New York City. He is currently a candidate for Santa Clara County District Attorney in the June 2026 election. He has an A.B. from Harvard University and a J.D. from Columbia University.
