Vincent Sheu

Vincent Sheu is a GC and cofounder, advising startups and organizations across a broad range of legal needs. He is the cofounder of a startup in stealth. Previously, Vincent did stints in biglaw (startup/general corporate and litigation/IP), before serving as TPM/GC at a growth gaming company. Vincent earned his JD/MS Computer Science from Stanford, and an Meng Bioengineering & BA Statistics/Molecular & Cell Biology from Cal.

 

Ken Kumayama

Ken D. Kumayama is a Partner at Skadden, based in Palo Alto. He represents clients in a range of technology and commercial transactions relating to the ownership, protection and exploitation of IP. He also counsels clients on cybersecurity- and privacy-related matters, including with respect to the California Consumer Privacy Act, Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, data rights, and artificial intelligence and machine learning. Ken is fluent in Japanese and worked for more than four years in Japan. The Daily Journal has recognized Mr. Kumayama several times as one of the leading technology lawyers in California, including as a 2023 Top Intellectual Property Lawyer, 2022 Top Cybersecurity Lawyer and previously as one of the state’s Top Artificial Intelligence Lawyers. He also was honored as a 2023 Technology MVP by Law360 and has been selected as one of Lawdragon’s 100 Leading AI & Legal Tech Advisors, in addition to being named to Chambers USA and The Best Lawyers in America.

Jack Shaw

Jack is a Partner at Procopio, Cory, Hargreaves & Savitch LLP. He focuses on intellectual property and commercial litigation, representing clients in industries including software, mobile app technologies, digital media & entertainment, machine learning, consumer electronics, semiconductors, telecommunications, mobile payment, internet, network, medical, and mechanical engineering. Along with patent litigation, his other IP experience includes copyright/DMCA (Digital Millennium Copyright Act), trade dress, and trade secret matters. He has represented U.S. clients as well as clients headquartered in Asia and Europe. Jack’s commercial litigation experience includes unfair competition and breach of contract actions.
