APABA Silicon Valley congratulates Judge Eumi Lee on her recent confirmation to the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California

Judge Lee currently serves on the Alameda County Superior Court, overseeing criminal and civil cases, and was the first Korean American to serve on the Alameda County bench upon her appointment in 2018. From 2005 to 2018, Judge Lee was a clinical professor at the University of California College of the Law at San Francisco (formerly UC Hastings). Prior to that, Judge Lee worked in the private sector and clerked for the Honorable Warren J. Ferguson at the U.S. Court of Appeals, Ninth Circuit from 2001 to 2002 and the Honorable Jerome Turner at the U.S. District Court, Western District of Tennessee from 1999 to 2000. Judge Lee earned her J.D. from the Georgetown University Law Center and a B.A. from Pomona College.
