Community Service Spotlight: APABA Serving the Community at Citizenship Workshop

On Saturday, March 14, 2015, a small group of APABA members volunteered at a citizenship workshop organized by the Asian Law Alliance and hosted by VIVO Vietnamese Voluntary Foundation in San Jose.  In total, the volunteer attorneys and law students assisted 79 clients by screening for eligibility and completing the citizenship and fee waiver forms.  Many of these clients have been waiting years if not decades to start this process and were grateful for the assistance.  There will be more upcoming opportunities to participate in similar workshops, so please be on the lookout for future announcements!
