Iris Chiu
/Ms. Chiu regularly litigates and counsels clients on issues pertaining to wage-and-hour class actions and Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA), cases involving discrimination, retaliation and harassment, compliance with employment discrimination laws, the hiring and termination of employees, negotiating and drafting employment agreements, covenants not to compete, confidentiality agreements, unfair competition, and related matters.
Ms. Chiu is also Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US) who has counseled clients on issues relating to state and federal data protection laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), surveillance of employees’ electronic communications, workplace investigations and searches, and the protection of trade secrets and confidential information.
Through her incredible work ethic and commitment to the law, in 2022, Ms. Chiu was recognized as a Northern California Super Lawyers "Rising Star" by Thomson Reuters.
