APABA Silicon Valley Submits Letters Regarding the SAVE Act

APABA Silicon Valley has submitted letters to members of Congress regarding the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act.

The letters share APABA Silicon Valley’s perspectives on proposed federal voter registration requirements, including potential impacts on eligible voters and administrative considerations. The correspondence notes that existing federal law already prohibits non-citizens from voting in federal elections and discusses how additional documentation requirements could affect certain communities, including Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) populations.

As an organization committed to advancing justice, equity, and civic engagement, APABA Silicon Valley periodically provides input to policymakers on issues affecting the communities it serves.
