The HPE Bay Area Pro Bono Committee is pleased to announce the second annual Pro Bono Day, which will take place on Tuesday, May 2nd in Palo Alto! This event will be a great opportunity for members of the legal community to exchange best practices, reengage, and commit to pro bono work.
Representatives from three different legal aid organizations will each provide one hour pro bono trainings that will enable you to start volunteering on projects right away! In addition to providing CLE credit, these presentations will offer a glimpse into the variety of pro bono work available in the Bay Area, including efforts to end human trafficking, improve the lives of the rural poor, and ensure fair housing.
This year’s event will also feature a pro bono fair with representatives from community legal organizations, partner law firms, and HPE project leaders who will be on-hand to provide information on different pro bono projects and let you know how to get involved. If you have been thinking about doing pro bono work, or expanding your pro bono practice, this is an event you won’t want to miss!
